LaGrange Township Road Department operates and maintains approximately 15 miles of townsip roads. These road include
Webster Road, Wheeler Road, Biggs Road, Crook Street, Hidden Canyon, Rachael Drive, Whitney Road, Law Road, East Parkway,
Chuckar Court, Meadow Lane and Kipton Nickle Plate. The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the State Routes of 301
and 303. The Lorain County Engineer maintains Indian Hollow, Vermont Street, Diagonal and Whitehead Road.
You must contact the proper authoity prior to installing any road or ditch tile to obtain the proper permits and specifications. The
Road Department provides dumpsters four times a year for residents to dispose of unwanted items. Please call the Road
Department for a listing of dates for the coming months. Brush pickup is also available by contacting the Road Department. Trees
and brush, not more than 4 inches in diameter, will be shredded and dumped at the garage. This material is offered to residents on
a first come, first serve basis throughout the summer months.
The Township offers free curbside recycling to all residents. More information on this service is available under Services on this
web page. A cardboard recycling container is on site at the village hall, 355 South Center Street. All cardboard dropped at this
location must be flattened prior to depositing.
